Casa Agria Announces Major Expansion
Casa Agria Specialty Ales (CASA) has announced a major 8,600 square foot expansion to their existing 5,400 square foot facilities located off Del Norte Boulevard in Oxnard. This expansion will include new brewing equipment, a new tasting room, a kitchen, and the capability to have guest taps. Once complete — some time in 2018 — this expansion will make CASA one of the largest breweries in Ventura County. Quoted below is a statement from Ryan Exline, one of the CASA owners.
We are excited to officially announce our expansion plans and future vision. We have signed a lease for the front space #360 in our same complex. The space is 8,600 sq ft. We have ordered a 15 bbl brewhouse from Sys-tech. With the addition of new tanks, we will have capacity to produce 3,000 bbl of sour beer and 2,000 bbl of “non-sour beer” a year. We will eventually move our tasting room to the new space. The new space will also include a “bonafide” kitchen. This will allow us to permit this space to also carry guest taps.
Our current space 310-315 will remain with us and house all of our sour program. Our goal is to have production operational out of the new space by the end of the year, with the tasting room being fully built out in 2018. Thank you for all the support, specifically our members, who many have supported since before we released a commercial beer. None of this would be possible without you. We are extremely grateful!!!Ryan Exline, CASA Founder
